They have names. They have power. They have wisdom. They worship. They have ranks.
Angels are magnificent. Let's get a few Biblical facts about them. They are given descriptive words in addition to "angels". A. Those who are ashamed of Me and of My words, of them the Son of Man will be ashamed when He comes in His glory and the glory of the Father and of the holy angels (Luke 9:26). B. and to give relief to the afflicted as well as to us, when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with His mighty angels (2 Thessalonians 1:7). C. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host, praising God and saying (Luke 2:13). D. I continued looking, in the visions of my head as I lay in bed, and there was a holy watcher, coming down from heaven . . . The sentence is rendered by decree of the watchers, the decision is given by order of the holy ones, in order that all who live may know that the Most High is sovereign over the kingdom of humans-He gives it to whom He will and sets over it the lowliest of human beings' (Daniel 4:13,17). E. Then Elisha prayed: "O LORD, please open his eyes that he may see." So the LORD opened the eyes of the servant, and he saw; the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha (2 Kings 6:17).
